Tight moderation can help here.
A moderator must take care of the following:
- Follow the agenda and work through points
- Ensure that all important contributions are heard
- Keep an eye on the time
- Observe the rules of the meeting
- Document decisions
In a workshop moderation, a moderator can support the processes (brainstorming, discussion, solution finding, decision-making) for tricky topics with suitable methods.
Incidentally, moderators do not always have to be superiors. Managers do not necessarily do this best. Other employees can also take on this task. Perhaps someone will discover an unexpected talent.
Maybe, you can also change the moderator role from time to time. This way, every team member can try their luck once.
We hope you have fun trying out and discovering new talents despite the strict moderation.
