Do you often have meetings?

In our new series, we would like to give you a few tips for planning meetings.

Today we start with the invitation and agenda.

State the purpose and aim of the meeting in your invitation.

Agree with the agenda in advance.
As you only have a limited amount of time, you should limit yourself to the essentials.
Prioritize and feel free to postpone topics to the next meeting.
As a result, everyone will consider in advance whether their agenda item is important.

Appoint a person in advance who is responsible for voting on the agenda. This person should have a good overview and the approval of the group as well as the necessary competence to postpone topics, as described above, to the next meeting.
You should also classify the meeting topics according to scope and objective.
For example, you can differentiate between information, decisions or discussions.
This gives the participants an orientation and makes moderation easier.

Try out these tips when planning your next meeting.
We wish you success!
